Husks vs Full Harvest

A year ago today, my father and I had a conversation that I will never forget....as a matter of fact, he brought it to my attention a couple of weeks ago which really surprised me. You see my father is a multiple stroke SURVIVOR...yep he has survived FOUR strokes, TWO heart attacks and much more to his body AND on this upcoming Monday, we will be celebrating his 64th Birthday!! Yep, he's been through a lot for such a young age, BUT GOD!!

Anyway, getting back to the subject at hand; I was having a conversation with both of my parents about something that was really on my mind and my father brought back to my attention the conversation that he and I had back a year ago (his long time memory is AWESOME) and he told me Libby, remember what I told you about the harvest and when it's your time to reap? I told him that I remembered most of the conversation that we had. He told me to reflect back on that conversation, trust God that He will make provisions for me and that He (God) will continue to lead me in the path that He has for me to go.

To my surprise and delight, that same conversation popped up in my Facebook Memory Timeline on today and I was like Thank You God because I need to be reminded that my harvest is just about it FULL bloom and You will let me know when I am to go out into the field to gather in my harvest!!!

Here's what my father told me a year ago today and I wanted to share it with YOU!!! "When the SEED is planted, you have to water and nuture it (spending time with God), make sure that your HARVEST has come to its MATURITY (so that you will know how to handle those CHALLENGING situations and people) because you may pick up some HUSKS in which it's immature and have to be THROWN away!!!

In the eight to twelve months, I have really learned the difference between "Husks" and "Full Harvest"! There have been plenty of times in which I thought it was my "Full Harvest" and it was actually "The

You know we have trust and faith in God for Him to do the impossible but He ALWAYS come in at the precise moment that we need Him! It may not be right when we need Him but He comes in right at the time that He needs to stop by and manifest Himself.

We have a tendency to always be the one to encourage others, but sometimes the encourager needs encouragement. I am so blessed to have parents who know when to sow positive and encouraging seeds into my life. Even at the age that I am at now, they always know when I need a word from God.

Keep an eye out on your harvest, continue to water it and watch it come into FULL Bloom and when God says okay it's time for you to go reap your harvest......go out there and get it!!!!
