Trying Something New!!!

Hey fam!! I tried ALL day to post this really cool post using the PicPlayPost app but it would not act right for all of the life of me! I mean I had it set up really nice and everything! I had talked about enjoying life and discovering all that is out there!

I did post about something new but not in the way that I wanted it...but that's okay though! You just never know, I may just get the hang of that new app (well it's pretty new to me! LOL)!!

All this month, my church family have been celebrating Membership Appreciation and on today we had our Multicultural Appreciation Celebration during our Family & Friends Day Weekend!

It was over TEN different culturals celebrated and represented on today! I had a chance to sample food from Haiti, Nigeria, Mexico, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Asia and so many more countries! I felt like I was on an international tour!

Sampling the different foods allowed me to come out of my comfort zone!! I'm more of a southern food/American food eater but I do eat some Chinese or Mexican every once in a while. Just learning more about the culturals (even how food is represented and how it's eaten in difference countries) was an eye opener and life changing experience for me.

You know it's good to step out of the box and try something new!!! I mean you may discover that you actually LIKE it!! Wow....isn't that something right there!!!
