It's Dark....I can't see!!!!

Have you ever experienced this; I'm sure that you have!! Sometimes in the middle of the night, there are times in which you have to go to the restroom and instead of cutting on the LIGHT, you figure okay, I know how my house is made, I can find my way in the DARK with no trouble. Now there are times where we think that we can trust our eyes but we hit our foot or toe against something that really hurts (yes that description just brought back some memories right!!) Another example, you walk into a room and it's dark, you're having difficulty finding the LIGHT switch and you say, "Cut the light on...I can't see"!

You thought that your instincts were right because you KNOW your house but somewhere along the way, your direction/instincts got off course or you thought you knew where the LIGHT switch was at but you couldn't find it!

Just like we trust our instincts to get us around in our homes in the dark, so must we TRUST GOD even in the dark moments in our lives. We trust God to bless us with our desires, His promises, His healing, His blessings while it's LIGHT on but what about those DARK moments when you feel like God, where are You? I CAN'T SEE!! What do you do or how do you respond when God doesn't honor your request? Hmmm. Do you continue to TRUST Him or get discouraged and turn away from Him?

The Prophet Habakkuk talks about the essence of true faith (Habakkuk 3:17-19) to CONTINUE to trust in the Lord's promise, wisdom and faithfulness even when you FEEL that He "seems" inactive or worse ignoring you. Do you have the confidence in God to trust Him regardless of how you are feeling or holding on to the rock which is Him?

Remember that God is the LIGHT that SHINES in the darkness! When you feel like you can't see....just say God I can't see...and watch Him bring everything to LIGHT!!!
