Watch Your Mouth!!!!
Good morning all!! Oh how I've missed you all so!!! I'm so thankful to be alive and well!!! On Monday, I had already chosen what I was going to blog about on this week but on the drive into work on this morning, I heard a song on the radio and it changed MY whole plan of what "I Was Feeling Today"...however God had something totally different that HE wanted me to share with you all on today.
As you can see, in this picture I have a lot of motivational and encouraging quotes!! You see that's what LibFiles is all about, encouraging, motivating and inspiring others to keep going and not not give up!!
Remember that song that I was talking about above? Well the song that I was referring to was "My Words Have Power" by Karen Clark Sheard and I just wanted to share a bit of the song with you.
"My destiny depends on me, depends on me. I've changed by vocabulary. From now I'm standing on what I believe. There is no limit to what I decree. I know my words, my words have power, power, power, power."
When I heard that song on the radio this morning, I was like wow God, we can derail our own destiny because of the words that come out our mouths. In Proverbs 18:21, it tells us that "Death and life are in the power of the tongue". Think about the things that have come out of your mouth over the the past year, months, weeks, days even on today!!! Prime example....yes here's a LibFiles Transparency moment....on this morning right after I arrived at work, I encountered a situation in which I almost allowed an individual to cause me to say negative things about something that they could have easily done but I said, no God, I am not going to speak negative things into the atmosphere...I'm going to watch what I say because my words have power!!! Now, if I had not heard that song on the radio on this morning and allowed God to desposit those awesome nuggets into me, who knows how I would have handled the situation.
We have to learn how to control what comes out of our mouths because what we can say can prolong what God wants to bless us with. We can be the hold up to our own blessings. I want you to do a little excerise for me.....think about the things that have come out of your mouth lately....reflect back over them for a second. Hmmm, wow...do you think that all of them were positive or were some of them negative? No, I'm not condemning at all, I just want you to reflect back just to see what words came out of your mouth. Don't worry....I did the same exercise and I was like okay yes the majority of them were positive but I do remember some negative words too....
God also had another opportunity to remind me to watch my words through Facebook!!! Yes God can reveal things to you in any resource! I clicked on this little "Name Tests" which was entitled, "What Are Your Most Used WORDS On Facebook?" Now when I clicked on it and the test/game calculated my results my words that popped up were: Motivation, Instaprayer, Life, Empower and etc. My most used word was GOD!! That ignited me to go into my gallery to find some more encouraging words that I had saved on my phone and this is what I found....
JUST SPEAK LIFE! YOUR WORDS WILL OUTLIVE YOUR LIFETIME USE THEM WISELY! I CAN! SPEAK LIFE! TRANSFORMATION! NO LIMITS! GOD HAS A PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE! DON'T GIVE UP...YOU'RE TOO CLOSE! KEEP CALM AND SPEAK LIFE!!
I want to encourage you all to keep going!!! Don't allow naysayers to deter you from your destiny!! Don't allow negative words, thoughts or actions to even come in your "space"!
Watch your words because your words have POWER!!!!
